Go to Fyresdal by National road 355. Approximately 1,5 km north of Fyresdal center (by the airport, 100 m south of the Statoil gas station) there is a road going west in direction Birtedalen. Follow this road for about 1 km until you reach the bridge over the river. Just before the bridge, turn left on the gravel road. After 30 meters, the road forks. Go right to get right to the beach. Go left if you want to park in the forest.

There is also a bus service to Fyresdal from Oslo and other major cities.
